AI image by LocalRankSolar has become a realistic upgrade for Singapore homes and businesses, from landed rooftops to large commercial and HDB installations, but the installer you pick shapes the design, the paperwork and the after-sales support. This guide gathers established solar PV companies operating in Singapore, spanning residential specialists, rent-to-own and leasing providers, and commercial developers offering zero-upfront power purchase agreements. Each was checked against its own website or public project records; treat it as a shortlist to work from, not a ranking.
1. Rezeca Renewables
Rezeca Renewables focuses on solar for landed homes, handling design, installation, cleaning and system monitoring, and says it has operated in Singapore since 2009. The company states it fits Tier-1 panels from brands such as Trina, Aiko and Jinko, paired with Huawei, Sungrow or Fronius inverters, and manages the SP Group, EMA, BCA and URA submissions in-house. It also covers commercial and industrial rooftops, and offers manufacturer product and performance warranties on its panels plus a solar-care package after handover.

2. SolarPVExchange
SolarPVExchange is one of Singapore's longer-running solar system integrators, running turnkey photovoltaic projects for homes and commercial sites from design through installation to after-sales servicing. The company says it handles the regulatory paperwork for you, including liaison with SP Group for grid connection, and offers interest-free instalment financing through the UOB U-Solar programme. It has also acted as a residential installation partner within the wider Sunseap ecosystem. Typical residential systems, it states, can be installed within a few weeks depending on complexity.

3. SolarGy
SolarGy is an engineering-led solar EPC that says it was founded in 2007, offering feasibility studies, system design, authority submissions, installation, commissioning and long-term operations and maintenance. A distinctive strand of its work is building-integrated photovoltaics, where panels form part of facades, skylights or roof structures rather than sitting on top of them. The company lists BCA registration and ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification, and points to projects across commercial, industrial and public buildings alongside residential installations.

4. Eco Roof Power
Eco Roof Power describes itself as a company dedicated to designing and building solar photovoltaic systems for residential and commercial rooftops in Singapore. Beyond the initial installation it says it monitors, maintains and repairs the systems it fits, and it points to manufacturer coverage of around ten years on components with a 25-year linear performance warranty on the panels themselves. Its concentration on rooftop design-and-build makes it a candidate for landed-home owners who want a single contractor to handle the whole system.

5. GetSolar
GetSolar concentrates on solar for landed homes and is best known for a rent-to-own model that lets owners install a system with no upfront cost and pay a fixed monthly amount, with ownership transferring at the end of the term; it also offers outright purchase. The company handles installation, daily monitoring and maintenance for the duration of the agreement, and provides an online tool to estimate a roof's output before committing. This structure suits homeowners who want solar without a large initial outlay.

6. SunPro Energies
SunPro Energies is a solar EPC offering end-to-end residential, commercial and industrial systems, covering consultation, design, installation, battery storage and performance monitoring, with a dedicated residential arm branded SunPro Homes. The company says it is an accredited partner of the UOB U-Solar programme for both homes and businesses, and an appointed installation partner of Sembcorp Power. That partner network can matter for financing and for householders who want an installer already vetted by a larger energy provider.

7. PMCE (Global)
PMCE (Global) supplies and installs solar panels for residential and commercial buildings, and says it specialises in landed properties including terrace houses, semi-detached homes and bungalows. It describes a full turnkey service that begins with a site survey, roof-orientation study and energy-usage analysis, then handles the technical requirements and authority approvals, followed by ongoing maintenance and system monitoring. The single-contractor, survey-to-monitoring scope is aimed at homeowners who prefer one firm to manage the entire installation.

8. Union Power
Union Power is the electricity-retail arm of the Union Energy group, which runs its solar business through Union Solar and finances and installs rooftop photovoltaic systems across Singapore. For homeowners it offers a rent-to-own scheme with no upfront payment, bundled maintenance and warranty, and full ownership at the end of the term; for businesses it offers commercial power purchase agreements and turnkey installation. Grouping solar with an electricity retailer lets the same company handle both the panels and the supply contract.

9. Sunseap (EDP Renewables APAC)
Sunseap, now part of EDP Renewables APAC after the Spanish group acquired it in 2022, is one of Singapore's largest solar developers, owning and operating photovoltaic systems rather than only selling them. The company says its portfolio spans thousands of buildings here, including public-housing estates delivered under the government's SolarNova programme as well as commercial and industrial sites. Its offering centres on solar power purchase agreements, EPC and operations-and-maintenance for larger rooftops, making it more oriented to businesses and estates than to single homes.

10. Sembcorp Solar Singapore
Sembcorp Solar Singapore is the solar arm of Sembcorp Industries and a repeat contractor under the SolarNova programme, building, owning, operating and maintaining rooftop systems across HDB blocks and government sites. For businesses it offers customised rooftop solar, typically on a power purchase agreement under which Sembcorp owns the system and sells the electricity it generates. Its scale suits commercial and industrial rooftops and public-sector projects rather than individual landed homes; the company reports contracts covering tens of megawatt-peak across more than a thousand blocks.

11. LYS Energy Group
LYS Energy Group is a home-grown Singapore solar independent power producer that builds, owns and operates photovoltaic systems for commercial, industrial and public sites across the Asia-Pacific region. Its core offering is zero-capex solar through power purchase agreements, alongside turnkey EPC, operations and maintenance, renewable energy certificates and energy-management consulting. The company says it has deployed more than 50 megawatt-peak of systems with a regional pipeline several times larger. LYS is aimed squarely at businesses rather than residential rooftops.

12. TotalEnergies ENEOS
TotalEnergies ENEOS is a joint venture between TotalEnergies and ENEOS, headquartered in Singapore, that develops on-site B2B solar for commercial and industrial customers across Asia. In Singapore it designs, builds and operates rooftop systems for businesses in sectors such as manufacturing, logistics and automotive, generally under power purchase agreements that require no upfront capital from the site owner. Recent Singapore projects it has publicised range from a few hundred kilowatt-peak to over a megawatt-peak. It does not target residential rooftops.

How to choose
- Match the installer to your building. Some firms specialise in landed-home rooftops, while others are built around large commercial, industrial or HDB projects on a power-purchase model, and the two are rarely interchangeable.
- Decide how you want to pay. Buying outright means the highest upfront cost but full ownership of the generation; rent-to-own and leasing spread the cost with little or nothing upfront; and a commercial power purchase agreement leaves the provider owning the panels while you buy the electricity, each shifting who carries maintenance and risk.
- Ask exactly which panel and inverter brands are quoted and read the warranties closely, separating the product warranty from the performance warranty and noting who honours them, since a warranty is only as good as the company or manufacturer behind it.
- Confirm the installer handles the regulatory paperwork and uses appropriately licensed electrical workers. Grid-connected solar in Singapore involves SP Group and the EMA, and for many roofs BCA and URA submissions, so a capable installer manages these rather than leaving them to you.
- Factor in your property type. Landed homeowners generally arrange their own system, whereas HDB and condominium residents usually cannot install panels on shared roofs individually, and estate-wide solar there is handled through town councils or programmes such as SolarNova.
- Check what happens after handover. Look for system monitoring, a clear maintenance schedule and a responsive point of contact, because panels operate for two to three decades and the value of the system depends on faults being spotted and fixed.
