AI image by LocalRankBuilding or renovating a private pool is one of the larger jobs a landed-home owner will commission, and the contractor matters more than the tile colour. This guide gathers established swimming pool builders in Singapore, spanning design-and-build, renovation, filtration and ongoing maintenance across landed homes, condominiums and commercial sites. Each was checked against its own website or business listing; treat it as a shortlist, not a ranking.
1. Modern Pools
Modern Pools handles the full build cycle, from design and reinforced-concrete or stainless-steel construction through to turnkey renovation and ongoing maintenance, along with the filtration and mechanical-and-electrical systems that keep a pool running. Its work spans landed homes, condominiums, hospitality, clubs and institutional developments, so residential and larger commercial jobs sit under one contractor. The company says it has been building pools in Singapore since 1986.
2. Watercraft
Watercraft builds, renovates and maintains pools in concrete, fibreglass and vinyl, and repairs the pumps, filters and jacuzzi systems that go with them. It takes on residential, commercial and rooftop pools and also installs water features and biological pond filtration, with a round-the-clock line for breakdowns. The company says it was established in 1998.
3. Pro Pool
Pro Pool covers the whole lifecycle of a pool, from design and construction to renovation, leak detection, cleaning and routine maintenance, alongside water features, spa pools and filtration work. Its client list runs from private landed homes and condominiums to schools, institutions and aquatic centres, so it handles both domestic and larger jobs. The company describes itself as having 15 years in the trade.
4. ID Home Plus & Services
ID Home Plus & Services designs and builds pools for landed homes and condominiums and also renovates existing ones, extending into decking, landscaping, lighting and the surrounding tiling and waterproofing. Because it keeps the general renovation trades in-house, the pool and its deck, plumbing and electrical work can be coordinated by a single contractor. It describes itself as a BCA-registered contractor.
5. PoolMan
PoolMan spans construction and renovation through to scheduled maintenance, water testing and emergency green-pool recovery, and it installs and services salt-water systems. It works on residential, condominium, hotel and commercial pools, offering weekly, fortnightly or monthly upkeep alongside leak, pump and plumbing repairs. The company says its technicians are NEA-trained.
6. Skypeak
Skypeak designs, builds and remodels pools for landed homes, working across in-ground concrete, fibreglass and vinyl as well as above-ground types, and backs the build with cleaning, leak repair and general maintenance. It positions itself around residential and luxury landed projects rather than large commercial contracts. The firm describes years of hands-on pool construction and remodelling experience.
7. Mr Pool SG
Mr Pool SG designs, builds and maintains pools for landed properties, condominiums and hotels, covering both residential and commercial clients. Its scope pairs new construction with ongoing servicing and repair rather than one or the other. The company lists BizSafe Level 4 and BCA registration among its credentials.
8. Luminous Engineering
Luminous Engineering designs and builds lap, family, plunge, rooftop and infinity pools and also renovates and maintains existing ones, along with their pumps, filters and heaters. It serves homes and landed properties as well as larger sites such as condominiums, hotels, malls and clubs, and installs water features and pond filtration. The company says it has operated since 2015 as a licensed pool contractor.
9. Crystallise Pools Services
Crystallise Pools Services runs from design and construction through renovation to repair and maintenance, and also builds jacuzzis, hot spas and water features with their filtration systems. Its portfolio covers private landed homes, condominiums and schools, and it says it is an approved pool vendor for City Developments Limited. The company describes more than 20 years in the industry.
10. Infinity Pool Services
Infinity Pool Services is a maintenance- and renovation-led contractor, handling routine cleaning, filter and pump servicing, leak detection, tile regrouting and green-pool recovery rather than ground-up construction. It works on both residential and commercial pools, including those at hotels, condominiums, clubs and schools. The company describes more than fifteen years of pool servicing experience.
How to choose
- Confirm the contractor is properly registered (many Singapore pool builders list BCA registration or BizSafe certification) and ask to see recent landed-home projects similar to yours rather than relying on a logo.
- Decide whether you need ground-up construction, a renovation of an existing pool, or ongoing maintenance, and pick a firm whose core work matches, since some specialise in building while others mainly service and repair.
- Ask how the filtration, circulation and mechanical-and-electrical systems will be specified and who services them afterwards, because the equipment behind the pool drives running costs and water quality.
- If you want an overflow or infinity design, check the builder has done that type before and can handle the balancing tank, structural loading and waterproofing it demands.
- Get the full scope, workmanship warranty and maintenance handover in writing, and make sure soil conditions, drainage and any authority approvals are assessed before work starts.
