Forklifts are rented for many reasons: a seasonal surge in a warehouse, a short construction or fit-out job, or a trial before buying. This page lists eight Singapore companies whose own websites publish a forklift rental service, covering counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks and stackers from different suppliers. We describe only what each company lists and attribute its claims, and we do not quote prices because rates depend on capacity, mast height and duration. Several are dealers or manufacturers' local arms, others are smaller specialists. Use the list to match equipment type and location to your site, then request written quotes from two or three companies and compare what each rental actually includes.

1. Hyster-Yale Lift Trucks Singapore

Hyster-Yale Lift Trucks Singapore is the local arm of a well-known lift truck maker, and its website has a dedicated rental section. The page says short-term hire can run from a single day to several weeks, while long-term agreements can span one to five years or more, with each agreement built around the customer's application, lift height and capacity. It describes pre-rental inspection of machines and says scheduled servicing and breakdown support are part of the rental arrangement. The wider catalogue lists pallet trucks, pallet stackers, reach trucks, internal combustion and electric forklifts, order pickers and container handlers. Its contact page gives a Joo Koon address, a general sales email and a phone line, plus an enquiry form that separates product questions from general ones.

2. Linde Material Handling Singapore

Linde Material Handling Asia Pacific operates the Singapore Linde site, which carries a forklift rental page alongside its sales and service pages. The company says hire can last from a couple of hours to as long as five years, covering hand pallet trucks, powered pallet trucks, stackers, forklifts of up to 12 tonnes and specialised very narrow aisle equipment. It adds that rental trucks are selected, prepared and maintained for hire and backed by its field service technicians. The navigation also lists lithium-ion forklift rentals, fleet management and refurbished used trucks. A Loyang address, a sales email and a rental phone line are published on its contact page, which makes it a straightforward option for larger or more varied fleets.

3. RS Machinery & Engineering

RS Machinery & Engineering runs a dedicated forklift rental site alongside its main machinery website. Its rental page says it supplies diesel and electric counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks and larger machines such as wheel loaders, and its FAQ names brands including EP, Hangcha and SOCMA. The company describes daily, weekly, monthly and longer leasing terms, plus a rent-to-own route for firms that may buy later. It also states that certification paperwork for construction-site use is available on request, which is the company's own wording and worth confirming for your project. Its sites give a Tanjong Penjuru address, and a quote starts from a form or phone enquiry where you share the capacity, site location and rental period.

4. Red Forklifts

Red Forklifts presents itself as a forklift repairer and dealer serving Singapore since 1979, and its site has a rental page with a request form. That page lists diesel forklifts, electric reach trucks, electric forklifts, LPG forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts and other material handling equipment, and it frames renting as a way to avoid upfront cost and maintenance responsibility. Elsewhere the site showcases brands such as EP, Toyota, Mitsubishi, Nichiyu and Heli, and it separately covers repair, tyres, parts, pallet trucks and stackers. The contact page publishes a Tuas address, office hours and a sales email, and it asks repair customers to quote the brand, model and serial number, so repair and rental enquiries sit side by side.

5. PAVES Asia Pacific

PAVES Asia Pacific describes itself as a supplier of customised material handling equipment, and its rental page focuses on narrow-aisle and multidirectional trucks rather than ordinary counterbalance models. Its listed rental equipment includes a Combilift Aisle Master articulated forklift, Combilift multidirectional electric trucks with different capacities, and a container-spec electric counterbalance forklift. The page says rentals include three months of preventive maintenance, operator familiarisation training and a replacement if equipment is down for a stated period, so read those terms in full. It also says it can source other machines through dealers if the fleet lacks what you need. Its contact page lists a Mega@Woodlands office with a sales email and phone number, plus a rent-or-purchase enquiry form.

6. Passion Lift Trucks Services

Passion Lift Trucks Services is a Woodlands-based supplier whose services page covers forklift rental, sales, servicing and spare parts under one roof. The company says it rents diesel and electric forklifts on daily, weekly and monthly terms, and that reconditioned used forklifts and reach trucks are also available for hire alongside new stock. Its product pages list diesel forklifts, semi-electric and fully electric stackers, Toyota forklifts and reach trucks, electric forklifts and hand pallet trucks, and it says it services forklifts and reach trucks of all brands. Its footer shows a 2026 copyright, and the contact page gives a Woodlands Link address, a general enquiry email and a phone line, making it a handy single point for rental and repair questions.

7. Goldbell

Goldbell is a large commercial-vehicle and equipment group, and its Singapore site has a forklift rental and leasing page under its material handling section. The page says leasing can run from a day to as long as five years, and it separates diesel forklifts for heavy outdoor work, electric forklifts for indoor warehouse use and gasoline forklifts that it describes as suited to both. Capacities are not listed, so you ask for specifications through the enquiry form, a published phone line or WhatsApp. Its contact pages show several Singapore sites, including addresses at Tuas, Senoko and Benoi, and the same site offers warehouse handling equipment, generators and air compressors, which is useful if one supplier needs to cover several equipment categories.

8. M&C Industrial Solution

M&C Industrial Solution is a smaller specialist that publishes a forklift rental page and says it was appointed Singapore's exclusive agent for Zowell very narrow aisle trucks in April 2026. Its rental page covers electric and diesel counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, electric pallet trucks and electric stackers, mentions island-wide delivery, and describes short-term hire, long-term contracts and a route to buy later. The site also lists servicing and repair, used forklifts and racking, so one company can cover storage as well as handling. A hotline, WhatsApp link and general email are shown, with a visiting address at Gul Circle. Check its own price and terms directly, since the page's published figures are the company's alone.

How to choose

  • Start with the load and the site. Capacity, mast height, indoor or outdoor use and aisle width decide whether you need a counterbalance forklift, a reach truck or a pallet stacker. Give each company those details up front, because its published rental page usually lists types but not the right specification for your job.
  • Ask what the rental includes. Some companies say they cover preventive maintenance, breakdown support, replacement trucks or operator familiarisation, while others publish nothing. Request the inclusions in writing, along with who pays for delivery, collection, fuel or battery charging, and what happens if the truck is damaged on your site.
  • Compare rental terms rather than headline rates. Daily, weekly, monthly and multi-year hire each carry different conditions, and some companies mention rent-to-own routes. Ask about minimum periods, deposits, early return and extension, and make sure every quote states the same truck, capacity and duration so the figures can be compared properly.
  • Ask what approvals the company holds for the work, and request the paperwork. If the truck will operate on a construction site or in a regulated workplace, check which documents travel with it and who is responsible for operator qualifications. Rely on the company's written statements, not on a general claim on its website.
  • Check location and response times. Depots in Tuas, Jurong, Woodlands or Loyang may reach your site at different speeds, and a delivery promise on a website is the company's own statement. Ask how quickly a replacement could arrive, whether weekend support exists, and who you should call when the truck stops working.
