AI image by LocalRankBrakes and suspension are the two systems you notice most when something feels wrong: a pedal that sinks, a squeal under braking, a car that floats or knocks over humps. Those jobs are different from a routine oil service, so this guide looks only at Singapore workshops that publish brake work, suspension work or both on their own websites. We read each site and describe what it says it does, attributed to the workshop. We include no prices, because they change, and we make no judgement of workmanship. Use the how-to-choose section below to decide what to ask before you hand over your keys or book a slot.
1. The Right Workshop
The Right Workshop is a Kaki Bukit garage whose site gives brakes and suspension their own service pages. Its brake page says the team measures pad and rotor thickness, tests calipers, slider pins and brake fluid, and finishes with a four-corner brake check supported by photos and a written report. It also says pads are fitted in axle pairs. A separate suspension page describes a road test and an underside inspection, so you see the worn part before a quote, covering shocks, springs and bushings. Alignment appears under its tyres and battery work. The site lists many makes, from Japanese to European, says pickup and drop-off can be arranged, and offers WhatsApp and an online booking link.

2. JW Motoring
JW Motoring is an independent workshop at Kaki Bukit with a dedicated brake and suspension page. The page says the scope covers brake pads, discs, fluid, calipers and related hydraulics, plus shock absorbers, springs, bushings and suspension arms, on Japanese, Korean and continental cars and the light commercial vans it already services. Separate pages describe big brake kit and coilover upgrades, and the site names brands such as AP Racing, Brembo, KW and Bilstein in that context. A footer note says the workshop is closed on Sundays and public holidays. Enquiries can be made through WhatsApp, an online form, a quote page or a phone call, and the site shows a 2026 copyright.

3. Redline Autoworks
Redline Autoworks presents itself as a performance-minded workshop for Japanese and European cars, and its brake and suspension pages lean towards upgrades. The brake page says it installs big brake kits, performance pads, rotors and stainless lines, flushes fluid with high-temperature fluid, and finishes with a bedding procedure and a test drive. The suspension page describes coilover installation, ride-height and damping adjustment and a precision alignment afterwards. A separate brakes page covers diagnosing faults and replacing worn parts. The site says the workshop races at Sepang, which is its own claim. It sits in Kaki Bukit, and you can book online, by phone or through WhatsApp. Its footer carries a 2026 copyright.

4. Autoclinic
Autoclinic describes its workshop as an extension of a performance parts distributor, so its menu mixes everyday repairs with tuning. The homepage lists a brake system service covering fluid flushing, disc and pad replacement, disc skimming, squeal resolution and big brake kit upgrades. A separate suspension service lists shock absorber replacement, bushing replacement, rim and tyre replacement and laser wheel alignment. Vehicle inspections, including pre-purchase and post-purchase checks, are listed too, which can help if you suspect worn components. The site says appointments can be reserved through an online calendar and form, and it offers a WhatsApp chat. The workshop is based at an industrial hub in Toh Guan, and the footer shows 2025.
5. ECO SPORT Pte Ltd
ECO SPORT is an Ang Mo Kio workshop whose site, by its own description, leans towards air-conditioning work, but it also publishes separate pages for suspension and brakes. Its suspension page says it addresses problems with shock absorbers, struts, springs and other suspension components, using what it calls high-quality parts and advanced tools. Its brake page lists brake checks, pad changes, brake fluid changes and rotor repairs, and describes both routine maintenance and fixing a specific complaint. The service menu also includes computerised diagnostics, tyre and wheel care equipment and spare parts installation. You can request an appointment through an online form or message the workshop on WhatsApp, and the footer shows a 2025 to 2026 copyright.

6. ARC Motorworks
ARC Motorworks is a Kaki Bukit workshop that frames its work around servicing and modification. Its modification page lists brake pad and rotor changes, high-performance pad and rotor installation and big brake kit upgrades. For suspension it lists coilover kit installation, lowering and lifting kits, sway bars, strut braces and air suspension systems, and it also mentions professional alignment and corner balancing. The site refers to industry-leading brands without naming them, so ask which parts it would fit. Bookings go through an appointment button that leads to its contact page, and a general sales email and phone number are shown. The footer carries a 2025 copyright, and parts of the site still look unfinished, so confirm details directly.

How to choose
- Describe the symptom precisely before you call: a soft pedal, a squeal, a pull to one side under braking, a floaty ride or knocking over humps. Then ask how the workshop diagnoses it, whether you can see the worn part, and whether you receive a written inspection report before any work is approved.
- Check which jobs the workshop itself publishes. A shop that lists pads, discs, fluid and calipers, or shocks, springs and bushings, has described its scope, while a general service menu may not. Ask whether it handles your make and model, and whether it regularly works on cars like yours.
- Ask which parts it fits and why: original-equipment parts, branded aftermarket parts or performance upgrades such as big brake kits and coilovers. Request the brand and part type in writing, and ask whether the kit suits your wheels and your car's electronic systems before you agree.
- Suspension work often affects wheel angles, so ask whether an alignment follows a shock, arm or coilover change, whether it is included in the quote, and how the workshop checks the result. Ask how a brake job is finished, for example fluid checks, bedding and a test drive.
- Get the quote itemised in writing, with parts, labour and any extras. Ask what warranty the workshop offers and what it covers, how long the job should take, whether it returns the old parts, and how to reach it if the noise or pull comes back. Treat vague answers as a signal.
