Air compressors power workshops, factories, construction sites and spray-painting bays, and most buyers need more than a machine: they also want servicing, spare parts, a rental unit when something fails, or help laying out compressed air piping. This page lists six Singapore companies that publish compressor sales, rental or service work on their own websites. We have described each one from what its site says, so claims are attributed rather than verified by us. Use the list to shortlist two or three firms, send each the same brief about air demand, duty cycle and site, and compare how they respond before you commit.

1. IMET Equipment

IMET Equipment is a Tuas-based supplier whose website covers compressed air equipment alongside a separate marking and coding line. On the compressor side, the company says it supplies reciprocating, screw and scroll machines, in oil-flooded and oil-free versions, and its brand list includes Hitachi and Chicago Pneumatic. The site describes rental units for projects, extra capacity, or periods when a customer's own compressor is under repair, together with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, site assessment, installation support and spare parts. It also carries an explanatory section on periodic examination of air receivers. Enquiries can be made through an online form, WhatsApp or email, which suits workshops and small factories as much as larger plants that want one supplier for equipment and upkeep.

2. Atom-Drive

Atom-Drive says it was established in 1999 and presents itself as a Singapore supplier of industrial air compressors and pumps, with cooling and HVAC equipment added later. Its compressor range, as shown on the site, includes water-injected rotary screw machines marketed as oil-free, fixed-speed screw models for higher capacities, and desiccant air dryers. A services section lists an annual maintenance programme, troubleshooting and repair, reconditioning and overhaul, spare parts, leasing and rental, measurement and optimisation, and leak detection. The website also displays a bizSAFE badge and an SME500 mark, which are the company's own displays, not our checks. Separate email addresses for compressors, pumps and service help route a request to the right desk. Its office sits in the Bedok North industrial area.

3. JUZAIR Services

JUZAIR Services focuses on rental and repair rather than showroom sales. Its website says it has operated since 2017 and offers electric and diesel rental compressors in a stated range of 185 to 850 CFM, including a zero-emission electric line it brands JUZEV. The company lists emergency repairs, scheduled servicing and overhauls, commissioning and technical consultation, spare parts for Ingersoll Rand and other brands, and hydrostatic testing of pressure vessels. It describes itself as an Ingersoll Rand certified supplier and shows a bizSAFE Star mark, and both statements are the company's own. The marine and shipbuilding, petrochemical, power and manufacturing sectors are named as customers, and the site promotes round-the-clock support, with enquiries by phone, WhatsApp or form.

4. Apex Air Engineering

Apex Air Engineering describes itself as a one-stop provider of compressed air solutions, built around air compressor sales and maintenance. Its website lists rental compressors, compressed air audits, customer training and parts supply, and it names Hanwha, Gardner Denver and Parker among the brands it works with. The company says it provides around-the-clock service, aimed at limiting unplanned downtime, and says its team has about twenty years of experience, which is the firm's own claim. The homepage shows a client strip featuring several electronics and manufacturing names, though we have not confirmed any of those relationships. Quotations are requested through a section of the site, with sales contact details published for direct enquiries. The office is in Woodlands, in the north of the island.

5. Com Air Works

Com Air Works is a newer compressed air specialist; trade press covered its November 2024 launch in Singapore, led by a founder with long experience in the field. Its site lists installation works, servicing and maintenance, compressed air pipe works, and troubleshooting and repair. The product side covers air compressors, air dryers, filters, receiver tanks and spare parts, and the company says it offers energy-saving compressed air solutions tailored to each customer. The site also states the firm has more than 35 years of experience, a claim that refers to its team's background. Separate general and service phone lines are published, plus a sales email and contact page for quotation requests. It operates from Tradehub 21 in Boon Lay, in the west.

6. Winston Engineering

Winston Engineering is a broader fluid and air handling firm, so it suits buyers who may also need pumps. Its website organises the business into supply, service, integration, testing and training, and its air transfer section covers rotary screw, oil-free, portable and piston compressors. The company lists Atlas Copco and Ingersoll Rand among dozens of brands, and promotes an energy audit offering for compressed air systems. It says it has more than forty years of expertise and describes a pump test bay as the only one of its kind in the region, claims we have not independently tested. A certifications page is referenced on the site. Enquiries run through a contact form, WhatsApp or phone to its regional headquarters near Joo Koon.

How to choose

  • Write a short brief before you call anyone: the air demand you expect, working pressure, how many hours a day the machine will run, whether the air must be oil-free, and whether you want sales, rental or a service contract. Suppliers can only compare like with like when they receive the same facts.
  • Ask each company which brands it can service, and whether the technicians who will visit are employed by the firm or subcontracted. A supplier that stocks parts for your existing compressor brand can shorten repair time, so ask what it keeps on hand and what it must order.
  • If a firm mentions safety marks, dealer status or regulatory support, ask for the details in writing, including the scope and the name of the body that issued it, then check with that body. A badge on a website is the company's own statement and is not a substitute for the paperwork itself.
  • Think about the whole running cost, not only the purchase. Ask about an energy or leak audit, planned maintenance visits, how the supplier handles breakdown calls outside office hours, and what rental cover is available while your own unit is being repaired, since downtime often costs more than the repair.
  • Compare quotations by scope, not only the bottom line. Check what is included in installation, piping, dryers, filters, consumable parts and testing, and ask each supplier to list assumptions clearly. A quote that omits an item you need can end up costing more than a fuller one.
