Shipping containers are the cheapest weatherproof room in Singapore, which is why contractors, event organisers and small businesses buy or hire them for storage, site offices, workers' quarters, toilets and pop-up shops. This list covers six companies that publish container sales, rental or custom fabrication on their own sites, and says what each one describes rather than ranking them. Consumer self-storage rooms are a different question, so see our self-storage page for those. Check each company's own wording on sale versus hire, ask for the current stock and delivery arrangements in writing, and request a quote from two or three before you commit.

1. OSG Containers

OSG Containers and Modular describes itself as a supplier of shipping containers and space solutions in Singapore, with a Tuas address on its site. Its pages list new and used boxes in several grades, from cargoworthy to wind and water tight, plus modified units, and say customers can rent or buy. The site also covers office containers and site cabins, pop-up shop containers and toilet or security units, with doors, windows, insulation, electrical fittings and partitions as modification options. It says delivery, placement, levelling and utility connections can be arranged, and that a lorry crane and generators are available. Requests go through a quotation form, email or phone. It suits buyers who want one supplier for the box, the fit-out and the delivery.

2. Anderco

Anderco Pte Ltd presents itself as an integrated building solutions company, with containers as one of several service lines alongside structural steelwork, fabrication and dismantling. Its site describes customised containers for uses such as sales offices, security offices, accommodation, toilets, control cabins, event spaces and charging stations, and a published project example is a container office development in Tuas. A 2025 article on its site discusses office, toilet and custom containers, and the footer shows a 2026 copyright. Its website lists a Tuas address with weekday office hours and a contact page with an enquiry email. This is a fit for site teams and businesses that want a container built to a brief rather than bought off the shelf.

3. Container Specialist Singapore (MK Holdings)

Container Specialist Singapore, run by MK Holdings Pte Ltd according to its site, positions itself around buying, selling, renting and customising shipping containers. Its categories include storage containers, cargo-worthy units, portable office containers, workers' quarters, sanitary or toilet containers and purpose-built customised units. The listings it shows are marked used, new or available and many say to contact the company for price, so there are no published rates to compare. The site says it has operated since 2010, a claim we have not independently confirmed, and invites visitors to message for current availability and to discuss delivery or placement arrangements. It is a practical first call for small contractors needing a storage box or a basic site office.

4. Infinex Containers

Infinex Containers describes itself as a Singapore-based trading company set up in 2024, supplying ISO standard shipping containers and customised container solutions. Its used-container page covers general purpose, high cube, flat rack and reefer types, and the site notes that used boxes suit businesses wanting storage or extra transport capacity at a lower cost than new. It says ready-stock orders have no fixed minimum, that single units and bulk orders are accepted, and that delivery to inland locations can be arranged. Quotes come through a contact form, and a WhatsApp option is offered. Its pages emphasise sales rather than rental, so it suits buyers who plan to own a container outright, not borrow one for a short project.

5. C S Marine & Engineering

C S Marine & Engineering Pte Ltd is a Tuas metalworks and marine services firm whose site includes a dedicated container fabrication and modification service. It says it can fabricate containers to any size or design, and its pages show examples including accommodation containers, toilet modules, workshop containers, storage containers and a portable bike tuning container. The site also lists container refurbishment and a gallery of past builds, with a 2026 copyright notice. It does not state rental or standard sales terms on the pages we read, so treat it as a builder to brief for a custom unit rather than a place to hire a ready box. Enquiries go to its contact page.

6. Advance Marine & Logistics (AML)

Advance Marine & Logistics Pte Ltd, known as AML, says it has operated since 2005 and sells, hires and modifies containers, with a strong refrigerated focus. Its container pages list reefer units in 20ft and 40ft, dry boxes, strip-curtain, double-side-door, shelving and stainless-steel-floor variants, and say short-term and long-term lease is available. It also lists structural repairs, reefer maintenance, spare parts, remote monitoring and cold room solutions. The site was updated in 2026 according to its own sitemap, and enquiries go by email or WhatsApp. Its pages do not emphasise site offices, so it is most useful for food, pharmaceutical or temperature-sensitive storage needs, where a modified or refrigerated box matters more than a plain steel one.

How to choose

  • Decide first whether you need to buy or to hire. Some companies on this list sell only, some publish rental or lease, and some mainly build to order. Tell the supplier how long you need the box, because a short site job and a long storage need can point to different providers and different paperwork.
  • Ask for the exact unit before you pay. Containers are described by size, new or used and cargoworthy or wind and water tight, and offices add insulation, power and air-conditioning options. Request photos or an inspection of the actual box, and confirm in writing what is included rather than relying on a website photograph.
  • Clarify delivery and placement. A container usually needs a lorry crane or similar to be lifted on and off, and your site needs level ground and access. Ask who arranges the lift, levelling and any electrical connection, and whether those are part of the quote or separate items.
  • Ask what approvals the company holds for the work and request the paperwork. If you are fitting out an office, toilet or accommodation unit, ask what is built in, who installs it and what documents you will receive. Keep copies with your contract, and do not rely on a website claim alone.
  • Compare written quotes from at least two or three suppliers and check what each covers: delivery, collection, modifications, damage terms and end-of-hire condition. Several sites here publish no prices, so the quote is the real comparison. Confirm the company is currently trading by calling or messaging it before you transfer a deposit.
