Pest Control in Singapore: Seven NEA-Registered Operators, Compared on Published Evidence
Every operator here is on NEA's current register. We compared what they publish — services, coverage, contact routes and whether their details match the government record — not the quality of their work, which we did not test.
- Published
- Last reviewed

Pest control in Singapore is a licensed trade. Only an operator registered with the National Environment Agency as a Vector Control Operator may lawfully do this work, and NEA publishes the register. That makes the first question — is this company allowed to do this — answerable in a way it is not in most trades.
It also makes the second question harder than it looks. NEA states that its list "is for reference only and is non-exhaustive" and that it "neither endorses the companies, nor the views they express or the products/services they offer". Registration means the company is registered with ACRA and employs at least one Vector Control Technician with three years of experience. It says nothing about price, punctuality or how well the work is done.
We used NEA's current register to establish the eligible universe of 425 operators. For this first ranking, LocalRank conducted detailed research on 12 operators and found seven with sufficiently comparable public evidence for inclusion. We did not individually evaluate all 425 operators against the ranking criteria, and this page does not claim to.
What this ranking measures is how much a company publishes that a customer can check before paying anyone: what it treats, who it serves, how to reach it, and whether its published identity matches the government's. We have not used any of these companies, have not commissioned any treatment and have not inspected any premises. Nothing here reports service quality, because nothing here measured it.
One consequence is worth stating plainly: a company that does excellent work but publishes little will not appear well here, and may not appear at all.

How we chose
Eligibility is current registration on NEA's List of Registered Vector Control Operators as of 31 August 2026. Beyond that, operators were assessed on four things a reader can check: whether their published contact details match the government register, how many pests they document, how clearly they describe who they serve and how they treat, and how many ways there are to reach them. Price transparency is deliberately not a criterion — no researched operator publishes a price, so it separates nobody. Registration is not scored either: it is the gate, and scoring it again would turn a licence into a quality signal, which is what NEA says it is not.
Researched 20 September 2026 against NEA's register of 425 operators dated 31 August 2026. Twelve operators were researched in depth; seven had sufficiently comparable public evidence to be included and 5 were set aside, each for a recorded reason. This ranking was researched, scored and approved by one person. It did not receive independent second-person editorial review.

Number 1: Pestbusters
Pestbusters documents more of its work publicly than any other operator we researched. Its site names seventeen pests individually — from the ordinary ants, cockroaches and rodents through to dog ticks, booklice, bats and birds — and, unusually, it also names the termite methods it uses rather than leaving "termite control" as a single line: baiting, a stainless steel barrier, and termiticide soil treatment are described as distinct approaches. For a householder trying to work out whether a company can do the specific thing they need, that distinction is the difference between a quote and a guess.

- Households that know which pest they have and want to check the company treats it
- Anyone who prefers to open with WhatsApp rather than a phone call
- Termite problems, where the treatment method matters and is described
Four contact routes are published — a landline, a WhatsApp number, an email address and a street address — and the address matches NEA's register exactly. It states 1991 as its founding year, which is consistent with its UEN.
- Seventeen pests named individually rather than grouped
- Termite treatment described as three distinct methods
- Four published contact routes, including WhatsApp
- Registered address matches NEA's register exactly
- We could not verify a published price for any service
- Bird control is described as warranty-backed, but the warranty terms are not published
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published. Quotation on enquiry.

Number 2: Aardwolf Pestkare
Aardwolf Pestkare publishes a similarly long pest list, and one thing nobody else we researched offers: vehicle fumigation, for cars and trucks. Alongside the usual household pests it names bats, snakes and stored product insects, which suggests work beyond the domestic and is worth knowing if the problem is in a warehouse rather than a flat. Anti-microbial disinfection and mould cleaning are listed as separate services.

- Warehouses and storage, where stored product insects are the problem
- Vehicle fumigation, which no other researched operator documents
- Anyone wanting email rather than a phone call as a first contact
Its registered address matches NEA's register exactly, and it publishes a landline, a second line and an email address.
- Sixteen pests named individually, including bats, snakes and stored product insects
- Vehicle fumigation documented — unique among the operators researched
- Registered address matches NEA's register exactly
- Mould cleaning and disinfection offered as distinct services
- We could not verify a published price. The site quotes a general market figure for pest control in Singapore, but that describes the market rather than this company, and we have not recorded it as their price
- Opening hours are not published
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price is published for this company's own work. A general statement about typical market rates appears on the site; it is not a quote and we have not treated it as one.

Number 3: Origin Exterminators
Origin Exterminators is one of only two operators we researched that publishes its opening hours — Monday to Friday until 6pm, Saturday mornings, closed Sunday. That sounds minor until you are trying to work out, on a Saturday afternoon, whether ringing is worth it. It names twelve pests, and separates bee hive removal and relocation from extermination, which is a meaningful distinction if you would rather the bees were moved than killed.

- Anyone who wants to know when the office is actually open before calling
- Bee problems where relocation rather than extermination is preferred
- Both household and business premises, which the site addresses separately
The address on its site matches NEA's register down to the unit number. A third-party directory lists an older address; the two primary sources agree with each other, so we used those.
- Opening hours published — one of only two researched operators to do so
- Bee relocation offered as an alternative to extermination
- Address matches NEA's register exactly, including the unit number
- Residential and commercial services described separately
- We could not verify a published price
- No email address is published on the pages we read; contact is by phone or form
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published. A free consultation is offered.

Number 4: PestClinic
PestClinic documents ten pests and, like Pestbusters, separates termite inspection from termite baiting rather than treating them as one service — useful if you want someone to look before committing to a treatment. Silverfish and lizards appear on its list, which are common enough in Singapore homes and are often left off. Disinfection is offered separately.

- Termite worries where an inspection, not an immediate treatment, is the first step
- Households dealing with silverfish or lizards specifically
- Anyone who prefers email as a first contact
Its registered address matches NEA's register exactly, and it publishes a landline and an email address alongside it.
- Termite inspection and baiting described as separate steps
- Names silverfish and lizards, which several operators omit
- Registered address matches NEA's register exactly
- Landline and email both published
- We could not verify a published price. A "$30 OFF" promotion is advertised, but with no base price published the discount cannot be read as one
- The site makes statements about its own age that do not agree with each other, so we have not reported an operating history for it
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published. A discount is advertised without a base price, so there is nothing to compare.

Number 5: Anticimex
Anticimex publishes the most ways to reach it of any operator we researched: an office line, a sales hotline and a service hotline both described as 24/7, two email addresses split by service type, WhatsApp, and office hours. If reaching someone outside office hours matters — and with a rodent or a wasp nest it often does — that is the practical difference here. Its documented pest list is shorter than others, covering termites, ants, bed bugs, cockroaches, rats, mice and birds, with termite monitoring described alongside soil treatment and baiting.

- Problems that will not wait for office hours, given the published 24/7 hotlines
- Termite monitoring rather than a one-off treatment
- Anyone who wants a choice of contact channel
Its address matches NEA's register — the register records a unit range where the company publishes a single unit, in the same building. It is the parent of Pest-Pro Management, which holds its own NEA registration; the two are ranked once, as one group.
- Six contact routes published, including two hotlines described as 24/7
- Separate email addresses for general and monitored services
- Termite monitoring documented alongside treatment
- Office hours published
- We could not verify a published price
- Fewer pests are named individually than by most operators we researched
- ISO certifications are stated without certificate numbers, so we could not check them
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published.

Number 6: GreenCity Pest Management
GreenCity is the only operator we researched that publishes its own UEN on its website. That sounds like a small thing and is not: it means a reader can check, in about a minute, that the company they are looking at is the company on NEA's register. Its phone number and address match the register too, which makes it the most thoroughly corroborated identity in this ranking. It names twelve pests including snakes and birds.

- Anyone who wants to verify for themselves that a company is genuinely registered
- Households, industrial and commercial premises, all three of which it names
- Snake or bird problems, which fewer operators list
Three separate published details — UEN, telephone and address — each match NEA's register. No other researched operator corroborates on more than one.
- Publishes its own UEN — the only researched operator to do so
- Telephone and address both match NEA's register
- Twelve pests named, including snakes and birds
- Names residential, industrial and commercial work
- We could not verify a published price
- Services are listed but the treatment approach is not described
- The site is served over plain HTTP rather than HTTPS
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published.

Number 7: Verminator
Verminator describes who it works for in more detail than anyone else we researched. Rather than "residential and commercial", it names BTOs, condominiums, terrace and semi-detached houses on one side, and F&B outlets, MCSTs, schools and preschools on the other. If you manage a condominium or a preschool, that specificity tells you something a generic list does not. Nine pests are named, and its address matches NEA's register.

- MCSTs and condominium management, named explicitly
- Schools and preschools, named explicitly
- BTO and HDB households, named separately from landed housing
Its registered address matches NEA's register exactly, and the segments it serves are described more precisely than by any other operator researched.
- Property types named individually rather than grouped as "residential"
- Schools, preschools and MCSTs named as served segments
- Registered address matches NEA's register exactly
- We could not verify a published price
- Fewer pests are named individually than by most operators we researched
- The site makes statements about its own age that do not agree with each other, so we have not reported an operating history for it
- It lists government agencies among its clients. That is a customer relationship, not an endorsement — NEA states it endorses no operator
- We have not used this company and cannot comment on the work itself
- Price
- No price or price range is published.

- CorrectionPestClinic's registered address was first recorded as verified from the company's own site alone. Re-checked against NEA's register, it matches exactly, so it was upgraded to corroborated. That moved the company from seventh to fourth. The error was ours, and the ordering was corrected before publication rather than left to stand.
