Triathlon asks you to get decent at three sports at once, which is why most people who stick with it end up working with a coach or a group. Singapore has a small but active scene, from online coaching teams to weekly swim, track and brick sessions around the island. This guide covers five providers that publish triathlon-relevant programmes on their own sites and show signs of current activity. We describe each as it presents itself, without ranking, so use the notes to match a format to your goal, and check each provider's booking page for current schedules, venues and terms.

1. Elevate Performance Coaching

Elevate describes itself as a Singapore triathlon and endurance coaching team that works through one-to-one coaching, group squads, open water clinics and overseas camps. Its site lists online triathlon coaching, swim stroke development and analysis, a swim squad, open water swim sessions, a track squad and nutrition support, alongside an exercise library of swim, bike and run drills. Squad places are booked through an online booking page rather than by turning up. At the time of checking, it was promoting a Bintan training camp for 6 to 9 November 2026. Triathlon Singapore lists the company among its associate members. A sensible fit if you want structured squads plus the option of personal coaching.

2. MetaSport

MetaSport is best known as a Southeast Asian sports event company that runs triathlons, community runs and cycling events, but its site also has a training arm. The training page describes swim, bike and run sessions through the week, individual feedback from coaches, structured plans and group training with fellow members. It says sessions cover every ability, and its sign-up form offers beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, plus a trial-session request form. A separate coaches page profiles a team of triathlon, swim, cycling and running coaches, with backgrounds as the company prints them. Triathlon Singapore lists MetaSport as an associate member. A good pick if you want a coaching group tied to a race organiser.

3. Coached

Coached, operated by Coached Pte Ltd, offers running and triathlon coaching delivered mostly online. Its site says an app builds a training plan around your race and the time you have, while human coaches handle the judgement calls. The triathlon page describes plans that treat swim, bike and run as one system, with strength work built in, heart-rate guidance for easy sessions and pace or power for key efforts. It also lists messaging with a coach, scheduled video calls, a monthly community call and a team chat group. Athlete stories on the site include Singapore-based triathletes. Triathlon Singapore lists it as a full member. Suited to self-directed athletes who want a plan without fixed session times.

4. Fishlike

Fishlike is a Singapore swim school whose site calls it the only Total Immersion school in the country. Two parts of its programme matter to triathletes. For children, it publishes Tri-Kids, a swim, bike and run programme starting at age 5, with a Sunday session at Tanjong Beach on Sentosa and a Thursday session in Choa Chu Kang, plus school-holiday camps. For adults, its Open Water Essential Skills workshops come in three levels and combine a pool session with a sea session at Tanjong Beach; the page says they also help triathletes. It is not a full adult triathlon club, but a strong swim-focused option. Triathlon Singapore lists it as a full member.

5. Well Bred Racing

Well Bred Racing says it was established in 2022 and coaches athletes from first-time kids to high-performance racers. Its adult classes page lists a swim session at a school pool, run intervals at a track off Evans Road, indoor cycling at the Singapore Sports Hub and multisport brick sessions, with beginner clinics for open water swimming at Sentosa and bike handling at Seletar. It also publishes kids' classes and private sessions. Its coaches page profiles a triathlon coach and lists the coach's own certifications and racing record. Classes are booked through an online scheduling page, and its Instagram account showed posts in October 2026. Triathlon Singapore lists it as a full member.

How to choose

  • Decide your starting point first. A beginner who cannot yet swim freestyle comfortably needs stroke work before a race plan, while an experienced athlete may want squads and a periodised programme. Read each provider's own description of levels and ask which group you would join on day one.
  • Match the format to your week. Online plans, such as those some providers describe, flex around shift work and travel, whereas fixed squad sessions give accountability and company. Check how sessions are booked, where they meet and what happens if you miss one, since these details are published differently by each provider.
  • Look at how the coaches describe themselves. Several sites list coaches' certifications and racing backgrounds, but those are the providers' own statements. Ask which qualifications apply to the work you would receive, and request the details in writing so you can verify them with the issuing body if it matters to you.
  • Ask about open water and bike handling. Pool swimming and open water are different skills, and riding in a group takes practice. Providers here mention sea swims, clinics or brick sessions on their pages, so confirm which of these are currently running, who they suit and how supervision works.
  • Try before you commit. Some providers describe trial sessions or introductory workshops, and others only take enquiries. Contact two or three, ask for the current schedule and terms, and judge communication as well as content. Keep any race-day goal realistic and talk through your health history with your own doctor first.
