A cracked Apple Watch display or a Galaxy Watch that dies by lunchtime does not always mean buying a new watch, and plenty of independent shops in Singapore now fix wearables. This list covers six that explicitly publish a smartwatch repair page of their own. Most focus on Apple Watch, while only a couple say they handle Samsung, Fitbit or Garmin, so check the brand first. Each write-up summarises what the shop says on its own site, and we have left out prices and turnaround promises because they change. Message the shop with your exact model before travelling. For traditional mechanical or quartz watches, see our separate watch repair guide instead.

1. Singapura Mobile Repair

Singapura Mobile Repair is a phone repair shop that also runs a dedicated Samsung Watch category, which makes it a useful stop for Galaxy Watch owners who find that most shops only handle Apple. Its page lists model groupings from the original Galaxy Watch through the Watch 8 line, plus Watch Ultra models. The services it says it offers include screen replacement, battery replacement, charging contact repair, button or rotating bezel repair, sensor repair, water damage inspection and internal motherboard work. The page states that a quotation is given after diagnosis rather than a fixed price, and that backing up the watch beforehand is recommended. The site lists two branches, at Marine Parade and Ang Mo Kio, so choose whichever is closer.

2. LYK Repair

LYK Repair is a multi-branch phone and device repairer with a full Apple Watch section on its site. The page says it services every Apple Watch series, listing Series 4 to 9 and SE sizes. Repairs described include screen replacement, battery replacement, back glass repair for cracked sensor covers, Digital Crown and side button faults, charging problems, water damage assessment and software restoration. The shop says it is trained for eligible repairs under Apple's Independent Repair Provider programme and states that most watch repairs are done within about an hour. It asks customers to message their model and fault first so staff can confirm what is possible. Its site lists shops at Tai Seng, Jurong, Woodlands and Bugis, plus a doorstep repair option.

3. Citri Mobile

Citri Mobile is an independent repair shop with a dedicated Apple Watch page listing models from Series 1 to Ultra. The page covers screen repair, battery replacement and touch screen replacement, and describes charging port and other repairs as quoted after a free diagnosis. The shop says it uses original-grade parts for watches and notes that genuine Apple parts under the Independent Repair Provider programme are reserved for eligible iPhone repairs. It also states that it is not an Apple Store and suggests starting with Apple if your watch is still under warranty or AppleCare+. The shop publishes four walk-in branches, at People's Park Centre in Chinatown, Tampines, Jurong Point and Yishun, and suggests a WhatsApp message to confirm stock first.

4. Esmond Service Centre

Esmond Service Centre is better known for laptop and computer repair, but its site includes an Apple Watch page covering the Series 1 to 9 range, Apple Watch SE, Ultra and Ultra 2. The repairs it lists are cracked screens, swollen or fast-draining batteries, charging faults, water damage, and stuck crowns or buttons. The page says a diagnostic is free, that common jobs are often completed the same day, and that most repairs carry a warranty period, though it states that water damage repairs are excluded and says so before the watch is handed over. An optional extended care plan is also mentioned. The business lists two service centres, at Alexandra Retail Centre and Midview City in Sin Ming, which suit walk-in visits.

5. Hitec Mobile

Hitec Mobile is a phone and MacBook repair shop whose site has a dedicated Apple Watch repair section, with pages for LCD or display replacement, screen glass replacement, battery replacement and back glass replacement. Its model pages run from older series through the Ultra 2 and recent Series 11 and SE 3 watches, and the copy is candid that newer models need repair feasibility and part availability confirmed first. It also explains the difference between a glass-only crack and a failed display, which helps you judge what repair is needed. The site says it is CaseTrust accredited and an Apple independent repairer, and it offers a paid doorstep collection and delivery option. Its listed branches are at Bugis Junction and International Plaza near Tanjong Pagar.

6. Mister Mobile

Mister Mobile is a large phone retailer and repairer, and its site includes an Apple Watch repair category listing models from the Series 1 up to the Series 11 and Ultra 2. The repair page describes screen replacement, LCD replacement, battery replacement and charging port repair, and states that most repairs are completed on the spot, typically within roughly an hour to three hours depending on the fault. It carries a clear note that the original waterproof seal is broken during repair and may not be fully restored, and that water damage is not covered by warranty. The site also says it holds CaseTrust accreditation. It lists branches across the island, including Bugis, Chinatown and Tampines, with online reservation or doorstep repair available.

How to choose

  • Check the brand before anything else. Most Singapore shops that publish a smartwatch page handle only Apple Watch, and only a few say they also repair Samsung Galaxy Watch, Fitbit or Garmin. Message the shop with your exact model number and fault, and ask for confirmation in writing before you travel across the island.
  • Ask whether the shop is repairing the watch or swapping parts, and what happens to the water resistance afterwards. Opening a smartwatch usually breaks its original seal, and several shops say so openly. If you swim or exercise in the rain, ask how the seal is replaced and what is excluded from warranty.
  • Compare the warranty terms rather than the headline price. Shops describe cover in different ways, and most exclude water damage. Ask for the warranty length for your specific repair in writing, find out whether it covers parts and labour, and check whether any optional extended plan is worth having.
  • Consider the manufacturer route first if your watch is still under warranty or AppleCare+. Independent shops, including those in this list, typically say they are not manufacturer service centres, and some state that outright. A third-party repair can complicate later claims, so confirm your coverage position before handing the watch over.
  • Back up and prepare the watch before you go. Unpair it from your phone, turn off any activation lock, and sync your health and fitness data if the screen still works. Ask whether data is left untouched, take photos of the watch's condition at drop-off, and keep the receipt, since repairs on small watches can reveal further faults.
