AI image by LocalRankSix Sigma and Lean training in Singapore ranges from university-run Green Belt programmes to consultancies that train a company's own teams on site. This guide lists six providers whose own websites describe Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen programmes, with notes on the belt levels, formats and certificates each one says it offers. We have not ranked them and we do not state fees, since prices and intakes change; every course detail below is attributed to the provider's own page, so check dates and funding with the provider before you enrol. Use the how-to-choose section to match a course to your role, your employer's needs and any certificate you want to hold.
1. NTUC LearningHub
NTUC LearningHub lists a Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Professional course, described on its page as a 40-hour programme that builds and validates the knowledge expected of a Green Belt. According to the course outline, topics include DMAIC project management, a structured problem-solving method it calls GRES, basic statistics, process capability and variation, and Lean tools for inventory and material flow such as kanban and takt-time calculations. The page says certification is based on project simulation, in-class assignments, an examination and participation, and that a Statement of Attainment from SkillsFuture Singapore is issued for each module graded competent. At the time of checking, its next listed intake was in late October 2026 at a Jurong East venue.

2. SMU Academy
SMU Academy, the continuing education arm of Singapore Management University, runs a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification that its page describes as an on-campus programme over six weekday sessions. The syllabus listed covers the Define phase and basic project management, change management, basic statistics, process mapping and value stream maps, root cause analysis, and selecting and implementing solutions. Participants are expected to deliver a real workplace improvement project using the DMAIC framework, and the page says a digital SMU certification is awarded once attendance, an online test and the project are completed within six months. It also lists a Black Belt certification for graduates who want to go further, and its next listed Green Belt intake falls in December 2026.

3. BSI Singapore
BSI, the standards and training body, lists Lean Six Sigma courses on its Singapore training pages. Its Green Belt page describes a nine-day public classroom course covering DMAIC, fact-based decision making, leading improvement projects and change, using Minitab software, while its Yellow Belt page describes a shorter virtual classroom course for team members supporting improvement work. BSI states that it is an IASSC Accredited Training Organization and a CSSC training provider, that optional external certifications need separate exams, and that its own certificate requires attendance, a pass mark and a completed project. The pages note that the courses are WSQ and SkillsFuture-approved, with funding available; dates are shown only through BSI's booking link, so check that page for current intakes.

4. SIT*LEARN (Singapore Institute of Technology)
SIT*LEARN, the lifelong learning arm of the Singapore Institute of Technology, lists a SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme for the Lean Six Sigma Champion and Operational Excellence Manager, aimed at mid-career professionals. Its page describes a programme of roughly three months, with a 2026 intake running from September to November, combining Zoom sessions with in-person days at the Punggol campus, a capstone project and company visits. Listed topics include value stream mapping, A3 problem solving, pull systems, Hoshin Kanri and DMAIC alongside coaching and strategic planning skills. The page says participants who meet the requirements receive a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a certificate of attainment. SIT*LEARN also lists shorter Lean and Kaizen courses, so browse its catalogue for lighter options.

5. Kaizen Consulting Group
Kaizen Consulting Group presents itself as a Singapore training and consultancy firm for Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen. Its Lean Six Sigma page lists programmes for different roles: awareness, executive and champion training, then Yellow Belt, Green Belt and Black Belt certification courses, plus a Lean Six Sigma for Service course. The firm says its programmes are conducted by Master Black Belt consultants and that it also offers consulting such as process assessments, DMAIC project guidance, and coaching for Green and Black Belts. Its site links to corporate in-house training and mentions on-site coaching and facilitation, which suits companies that want a team trained around its own processes. The site runs several domains under the same company, and its footer shows a 2026 copyright year.

6. Kaizen Institute Singapore
Kaizen Institute Singapore is the local office of an international continuous improvement consultancy, and its training pages describe Lean thinking rather than Six Sigma belts. It says its Kaizen Academy is split into a culture track and a solutions track, using theory, exercises, simulation games and, where possible, visits to the shop floor. For companies it lists in-house programmes such as a leadership seminar, a transformation programme, value stream analysis, Kaizen events, an agile organisation programme and strategy planning, and it says content can be tailored to a client's goals. Its Singapore page also publishes insight articles on topics like Lean production and reducing work in progress. Treat it as a fit for teams wanting hands-on Lean change, not a belt certificate.

How to choose
- Decide whether you need a certificate or a capability. Public courses from universities and training bodies usually describe a belt, an assessment and sometimes a project, while consultancies often tailor in-house programmes. Ask what you will receive at the end, who issues it, and whether your employer actually recognises it.
- Match the belt to your role. Yellow Belt suits team members who support projects, Green Belt suits people leading smaller improvements alongside their normal job, and Black Belt suits those running complex projects. Check each provider's stated prerequisites, because some programmes expect work experience, a degree or a prior belt.
- Look closely at the project requirement. Several providers describe a real workplace project as part of certification, which means you need access to a process you can measure and change. Ask how long you have to finish it, whether a coach reviews it, and what happens if it is not completed.
- Check funding and intake dates directly. Many Singapore courses mention SkillsFuture or WSQ-approved funding, but eligibility depends on your citizenship, age and whether your employer sponsors you. Confirm the current schedule, venue and funding rules with the provider rather than relying on a guide, since intakes change frequently.
- Consider delivery and software. Some courses run on campus, some in virtual classrooms, and some on your own site. Ask whether statistical software such as Minitab is used and whether a licence is included, and whether the trainer has experience in your sector, such as manufacturing, services, healthcare or logistics.
