AI image by LocalRankEV charging in Singapore now spans two things drivers usually search for at once: the public networks you plug into at malls, HDB and condo car parks and petrol stations, and the installers who fit a dedicated charger at your own home. This guide rounds up ten established, currently-operating providers - a mix of islandwide charging networks and residential and commercial charger installers - so you can shortlist the right option and compare quotes before you commit.
1. SP Mobility
SP Mobility is the EV charging arm of utility group SP Group and describes itself as Singapore's largest publicly accessible high-speed charging network, with AC and DC chargers at malls, offices and HDB and condo car parks. It says it has passed 2,000 charging points islandwide and offers high-power DC fast charging, with sessions located and paid for through the SP app. Beyond public charging it also installs chargers for condos, landed homes and fleet operators, which makes it a one-stop option for both on-the-go and at-home charging.
2. Charge+
Charge+ is a Singapore-headquartered charging operator that says it runs the country's largest network, having passed 4,000 charging points across public car parks, HDB estates, condominiums and commercial sites. It positions itself as a condominium market leader, and its programmes cover the supply, installation and maintenance of AC and DC chargers for developers, building managements and residents. Drivers start and pay for sessions through the Charge+ app, so it suits both public charging and getting a charger installed where you live.
3. CDG Energy (formerly ComfortDelGro ENGIE)
CDG Energy is the EV charging network of transport group ComfortDelGro, rebranded from its former ComfortDelGro ENGIE joint venture after ComfortDelGro took full ownership. The company says it operates more than 2,600 charge points across Singapore and Malaysia, with DC fast charging and a mobile app for finding stations, planning trips and paying per charge. It serves public, commercial, fleet and residential charging, so drivers can use its public points or arrange charging where they park.
4. Shell Recharge
Shell Recharge is oil major Shell's EV charging brand in Singapore, best known for DC fast charging bays added to its petrol stations alongside destination charging at malls and other sites. The company says its chargers use the CCS Type 2 connector for DC and the Type 2 connector for AC, working with most EVs on local roads, and drivers find stations and pay through the Shell Recharge app. It also offers tailored charging solutions for commercial buildings and condominiums.
5. City Energy Go
City Energy Go is the EV charging network run by City Energy, Singapore's town-gas utility. The operator says it was the first here to offer app-free 'AutoCharge', where drivers register a vehicle once and then simply plug in to start a session without scanning a QR code, and it has a City Energy Go app for locating and managing charging. Its network spans charge points in Singapore and, through a partner network, across the Causeway in Malaysia, which suits drivers who make cross-border trips.
6. Hai Khim Engineering
Hai Khim Engineering is an independent EV charger installation and maintenance specialist that says it has fitted chargers in Singapore since 2004, for landed homes, condominiums, workplaces, car dealers and vehicle fleets. It installs both AC wallboxes and DC fast chargers and describes itself as brand-agnostic, listing itself as a Tesla authorised installer and an Autel distributor and citing options from ABB, Schneider and SINEXCEL. That mix makes it a strong fit for homeowners who want a specialist to handle everything from site assessment to the LTA-registered install.
7. Tysen-KLD
Tysen-KLD provides EV charger installation for both homes and businesses in Singapore, covering landed properties and garages as well as offices, retail sites and car parks. The company says its work is carried out or supervised by Licensed Electrical Workers and follows Singapore's TR 25 technical standard, and it fits everything from 7-22kW AC wallboxes with the standard Type 2 connector to higher-power DC chargers for commercial use. It positions itself as an end-to-end provider handling consultation, site assessment, installation and testing.
8. Lim Kim Hai Electric
Lim Kim Hai Electric is a long-standing Singapore electrical company that supplies, installs and maintains EV chargers for homes, commercial buildings and industrial sites. It says it distributes and fits AC wallboxes and DC fast chargers from brands including ABB, Autel, Schneider Electric and Winline, and offers charging-management software and payment tools for larger sites. With free site assessments and a demo station, it suits both landed-home owners wanting a single charger and building managements planning a bank of them.
9. Watt
Watt is a Singapore EV charging company focused on residential and condominium charging, pairing installation with its own Watt360 charge-point management platform for property owners and MCSTs. It says the platform is OCPP-compliant and works with leading AC and DC charger brands, and it supplies hardware such as Wallbox AC units and Autel DC chargers, with a driver app for iOS and Android. The management-plus-installation model is aimed at condos that want shared chargers billed and administered properly rather than a single private point.
10. Eigen Energy
Eigen Energy is a Singapore clean-energy company that installs EV chargers for landed homes and condominium MCSTs alongside fleet and public charging projects, and also fits solar systems. It says it manages every stage in-house, from engineering and design through to commissioning, which is useful for owners who want charging and rooftop solar handled together. The end-to-end approach suits landed-home buyers pairing an EV charger with solar, as well as condo committees rolling out shared charging.
How to choose
- Decide whether you mainly need public charging or a charger at home - the big islandwide networks compete on coverage and app convenience, while a home or condo charger is an installation job you hire a contractor for.
- For any fixed home charger, check that the installation is carried out or supervised by a Licensed Electrical Worker (LEW) and that the charger is registered with the LTA, as both are required in Singapore.
- If you live in a condominium, confirm the provider has experience getting MCST approval and assessing the building's electrical capacity, and ask whether your installation could qualify for the government's EV Common Charger Grant for shared chargers.
- Match the charger type to your use - a 7-22kW AC wallbox is the usual choice for overnight home charging while DC fast charging matters more for public top-ups - and check the connector (commonly Type 2) suits your car.
- Compare exactly what is included - site assessment, cabling, the distribution-board check, warranty and any ongoing maintenance or network or app fees - and ask for an itemised written quote rather than a headline figure.
