AI image by LocalRankCorporate events do not always need a hotel ballroom. Many Singapore companies now book museums, cultural centres, heritage halls, wildlife parks and even a tall ship for launches, workshops, client evenings and team days. The nine venues below each publish their own venue-hire information, from listed spaces to a booking or enquiry route. We describe only what each venue says on its site, and we leave out prices, since quotes depend on date and format. Use the list to shortlist two or three, then request availability, a layout plan and a written quote for your headcount and date before you compare them side by side.
1. Arts House Group
Arts House Group manages a cluster of public arts venues that organisations can hire, including The Arts House at the Old Parliament, Victoria Theatre and Victoria Concert Hall, the Drama Centre, Aliwal Arts Centre, Goodman Arts Centre and Stamford Arts Centre. Its venue hire pages let enquirers filter by event type, and the options it lists include product launches and conferences, meetings, seminars and workshops, and networking receptions, alongside performances and exhibitions. Capacity filters run from tiny groups to crowds above two hundred. It offers a downloadable venue information kit and a general enquiries mailbox. It suits teams that want a civic, culture-led setting for a launch or workshop instead of a hotel function room, so ask which venue fits your headcount.

2. National Gallery Singapore
National Gallery Singapore lists ten hireable spaces on its venue rental page, among them the Supreme Court Terrace, the Glass Room, the Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium and Foyer, the Padang Atrium, Rooftop Studios, Padang Deck, Coleman Deck, the Singapore Courtyard and the City Hall Chamber. The page says the spaces are suited to conferences, product launches and cocktail events, and it publishes standing or seating capacities for several of them, such as a 212-seat auditorium. Two spaces, the seminar rooms and the City Hall Chamber, are marked as unavailable for bookings until 2027, so check availability early. Enquiries go through an online form on the page rather than a published email address.

3. Asian Civilisations Museum
The Asian Civilisations Museum hires out spaces across several levels of its riverside building. Its venue hire page groups them by floor: the Ngee Ann Auditorium and Foyer, Discovery Room and Demonstration Room are described as suited to lectures, seminars and stage performances, while the Riverfront Forecourt is pitched at cocktail receptions, product launches and corporate hospitality. The River Room and River Terrace on level two are described for product launches, corporate hospitality and weddings. The page offers a downloadable venue hire kit and virtual tours of the auditorium and the River Room and Terrace. It lists a business-development mailbox and phone contacts for enquiries, so it fits companies planning a museum-setting reception or talk.

4. Science Centre Singapore
Science Centre Singapore offers four event spaces to corporate groups, according to its corporate events page: the Marquee, an air-conditioned hall it says can be set up for formal or informal programmes; the Amphitheatre, an outdoor tented space; the Newton Room, a lounge-style room with an outdoor terrace; and the Maxwell Auditorium, a theatre-style room with audio-visual facilities. The page lists capacities for each and names team building and workshops, company family days, client appreciation, product launches, seminars and networking evenings among the event types. It invites organisers to contact its events team to customise an experience and publishes a sales mailbox for that purpose. Confirm current availability and format directly with the team before shortlisting.

5. Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre
The Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre rents seven spaces in its central business district building: an auditorium, a multi-purpose hall, the Creative Box, a recital studio, a roof garden, a concourse and a VIP lounge. Its venue hire page lists capacities for each and suggests uses including corporate events, annual general meetings, award ceremonies, school anniversaries and dance recitals. It says it recommends several caterers and lets organisers choose from a curated menu, and it describes a virtual tour and an enquiry form. The page states that corporate and non-arts event enquiries should be submitted no more than six months before the event date. It is worth a look for companies wanting a mid-sized hall or rooftop garden in the city.

6. Mandai Wildlife Group
Mandai Wildlife Group publishes a venues-for-hire list covering spaces across its parks, including Singapore Zoo, Bird Paradise, Night Safari, River Wonders, Rainforest Wild Adventure and its Green Canvas education area. Its listing tags rooms and outdoor settings for corporate uses such as seminars, learning journeys, family days, corporate dining and team building, and it names an Evening in the Wild format at selected venues. Examples include the Forest Lodge at Singapore Zoo, the Tipi Tent at Night Safari and the Exhibition Hall at Green Canvas, each with a stated maximum group size. Enquiries go through an Enquire Now form on the site. It suits companies that want a wildlife-park backdrop for a day event or dinner.
7. Tall Ship Adventures
Tall Ship Adventures operates the Royal Albatross, a tall ship that its site presents for corporate use under a Host at Sea offer described as team bonding and functions aboard, plus full-ship and private charters and corporate programmes. Its Host Ashore offer covers waterfront celebrations at Pavilion By The Sea, which the site says holds up to 400 guests. In its own venue guide, the company says its corporate sailings run for about two and a half hours from Marina at Keppel Bay and suit roughly 70 to 200 guests. That makes it a distinctive option for client outings or year-end gatherings. Its site lists a reservations email and a phone line for enquiries.

8. CHIJMES
CHIJMES lists four event spaces on its site: CHIJMES Hall, the Alcove at The Caldwell House, the Terracotta courtyard and The Lawn. The hall's page describes it as a restored early Gothic-style nineteenth-century chapel, gazetted a National Monument in 1990, with chandeliers, stained glass, air conditioning, a stage, a screen with integrated audio-visual equipment, a projector and Wi-Fi. It prints capacity figures of 300 and 400 without explaining which applies to which layout, so ask how your seating plan would work. The site also mentions a CHIJMES Corporate Club among its happenings. The venue publishes a contact page and a phone number for hire enquiries, so you can ask about layouts, timings and any house rules before committing to a date.

9. Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay publishes a Book a Venue page that lists spaces such as the Flower Field Hall and Waterview Room inside the Flower Dome, Floral Fantasy and the SG50 Lattice at Bayfront Plaza, the Supertree Observatory and the open-air Meadow, with floor areas given for each. Its venue menu includes a corporate events category that it describes as a way to set events and conferences apart, though the page does not say which spaces suit which format. A venue brochure can be downloaded, and enquiries go through its Book a Venue form or a general contact form. It suits companies that want a garden or conservatory setting, so confirm space-by-space availability.

How to choose
- Start with headcount and layout. Venues publish capacities for seated, standing or theatre-style setups, and the figures can differ a lot between layouts. Ask which number applies to your plan, whether it includes a stage and catering stations, and what the cap is if you add a registration desk or demo area.
- Check the booking window and availability early. Some venues state how far ahead enquiries open or mark certain spaces as unavailable for a period. Ask for tentative holds and the date by which you must confirm, and keep a fallback date in mind, particularly for outdoor or weather-dependent spaces.
- Ask what is included and what is not. Audio-visual equipment, furniture, staging, security, cleaning and catering are handled differently at each venue, and some require approved caterers or contractors. Request a written scope listing exactly what the hire covers, plus any restrictions on decor, rigging, sound levels or alcohol.
- Plan the guest journey. Think about how attendees arrive, where coaches or taxis drop off, how accessible the entrances and lifts are, and what happens at the end of the day. Heritage buildings and parks can have narrow load-in routes, so ask about delivery times and loading arrangements for your suppliers.
- Match the setting to the occasion. A museum suits a talk or reception, a park suits a family day, and a ship suits a client outing. Visit the venue, or request a virtual tour where one is offered, then compare written quotes covering the same date, hours, layout and inclusions.
