AI image by LocalRankProduct management is a popular destination for project managers, analysts, designers, developers and marketers who want to move closer to deciding what gets built. The courses here cover that switch in different ways: a multi-month certificate, a short blended programme, a subsidy-linked online course, a two-day classroom workshop and Scrum Alliance product owner training. We compiled each one from the provider's own course page and describe it as that page does, without prices, outcomes or rankings. Course dates and funding change often, so use this list to shortlist, then confirm the current intake, format and entry requirements directly with the provider before you register.
1. NUS-ISS Managing Digital Products
NUS-ISS runs Managing Digital Products as a blended-learning course aimed at people who are new to product management or want to transition into it. Its page describes an eight-week online format with a modest weekly time commitment and five live online sessions for group activities, discussions and feedback. The content centres on product discovery and delivery, using data, agile methods, user experience design and experimentation, and the page lists inexperienced product managers, project managers, analysts, designers, developers and marketers among its intended learners. It says the course is part of a graduate certificate that can stack towards a master's programme, and that a certificate of completion is issued to learners who meet the requirements. Check the page for the next class dates.

2. SMU Academy
SMU Academy offers an Advanced Certificate in Product Management Essentials under its SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme banner, which suits people who are changing direction rather than topping up a skill. The page describes a three-month programme of roughly 320 hours, mixing asynchronous e-learning, synchronous online sessions and classroom learning, with four modules that run from product fundamentals through frameworks such as Agile and Scrum, product launch and tracking, and pricing, stakeholder management and career preparation. It names Product Manager and Junior Product Manager roles as the target, states eligibility conditions for applicants, and describes several funding schemes. At the time of checking the page showed no upcoming intake, so confirm dates first.

3. General Assembly
General Assembly's Singapore page presents its AI-First Product Management course, a live online cohort programme that it describes as 37.5 hours across five units and a capstone project. The units move from foundations of product management through understanding customers and problems, strategy and execution, building and delivering products, and communication for product managers. The page says no technical background is required, that the course is designed for people with full-time jobs, and that career changers and early-career product managers are among those it suits. It also lists related courses and an AI product management pathway. When we checked, the page said the course was not currently scheduled and invited visitors to sign up for notice of the next intake.

4. SGInnovate Product Management Course
SGInnovate listed a synchronous online Product Management course delivered with training firm CuriousCore, aimed at aspiring product managers entering the ICT industry and professionals moving into ICT product roles. Its agenda covers Agile and Scrum basics, writing user stories, prioritisation and retrospectives, product strategy and roadmapping, OKRs, and defining and monitoring success metrics, with lectures, case studies and individual assessments. The page says the course is accredited under the Workforce Skills Qualifications framework and eligible for SkillsFuture funding, and that participants who meet attendance and competency requirements receive a statement of attainment; that is the provider's wording. The listing we read covered a September 2025 run, so ask the provider about any newer intakes.

5. Avanta Global
Avanta Global lists a two-day Product Management course taught in a classroom at its Bendemeer training centre, with separate weekday and weekend date sets published on its page. The syllabus it prints covers the product manager's role and responsibilities, how IT product management compares with other kinds, the product lifecycle from concept to end of life, project versus product management, market research, product management versus product marketing, pricing, bid management and customer satisfaction. The page says no entry requirements apply, that company-sponsored and self-sponsored participants are accepted, that in-house delivery is available, and that a certificate is awarded on completion. It suits someone who wants a short, classroom-based introduction before committing to a longer programme.

6. Bilginc IT Academy
Bilginc IT Academy describes itself as a UK-based training provider that runs public and private courses for Singapore learners, online, in a classroom or onsite. Its Product Way of Thinking course is a one-day introduction that the page says needs no prior product management experience. Topics listed include how product management differs from project management, the roles of product managers, product owners and product analysts, prioritisation using methods such as MoSCoW and WSJF, agile product delivery, and applying product thinking. The audience it names includes project and programme managers, operations teams and business leaders. It also lists a longer ICAgile product management course for experienced practitioners. Because the provider is not Singapore-based, check delivery format and session dates.

7. KnowledgeHut Certified Scrum Product Owner
KnowledgeHut, which its footer attributes to upGrad Education, offers a Certified Scrum Product Owner course with a Singapore page. It is the option here for people who want the product owner role inside Scrum teams rather than a general product management programme. The page describes sixteen hours of live, instructor-led training over two days, using simulations and activities, covering Scrum basics, product owner responsibilities, product vision, estimating, the product backlog, prioritising and release management. It says the fee includes the Scrum Alliance certification route and a two-year membership, and that the trainers are Certified Scrum Trainers. The company does not state a Singapore base on that page, though it lists a Singapore phone line, so confirm delivery details.
How to choose
- Decide whether you need a general product management foundation or a Scrum product owner credential. They overlap, but the product owner courses here centre on backlogs and sprints inside agile teams, while the others cover wider ground such as customer research, strategy, roadmaps, pricing and launch. Match the syllabus to the job descriptions you are applying for.
- Compare time and format honestly. A one- or two-day workshop gives an overview, an eight-week online course spreads learning around a job, and a multi-month certificate with classroom hours demands far more. Read each page for total hours, live sessions, assessments and whether you attend online or in person before you commit.
- Check eligibility and funding conditions on the provider's own page, not a summary. Several courses here describe subsidy schemes, citizenship or residency conditions, minimum attendance and assessment requirements. Ask what documents are needed, who confirms funding, and what happens if the class is cancelled or you cannot attend a session.
- Look for evidence of practice: a capstone, case study, user-story exercises or a portfolio piece you can show an employer. Ask what you will produce, who gives feedback and how much of the class is hands-on. A certificate alone rarely persuades a hiring manager of your product thinking.
- Confirm that a class is actually running. Some pages here showed no upcoming intake or an older run when we checked, and global providers may deliver differently in Singapore. Ask for the next confirmed date, minimum class size, trainer profiles and the cancellation or deferral terms in writing before paying.
