AI image by LocalRankMost lists of meeting rooms for hire in Singapore repeat the same big serviced-office brands. This guide looks at a different corner of the market: business chambers and associations that open their boardrooms to outside companies, plus one workspace operator with rooms in the Tanjong Pagar business district. Each entry below is described as its own website presents it, so room names, seating and booking routes come from the provider rather than from us. We do not quote rates because they change, and several of these venues charge members and non-members differently. Read the how-to-choose notes, shortlist two or three rooms, then confirm availability and terms directly before you commit to a date.
1. AmCham Singapore (AmChamSG Hub)
AmCham Singapore rents rooms at its AmChamSG Hub to non-members as well as members, which is not something every business chamber does. Its room-rental page lists the Sunray Event Space for conferences and networking, the West Boardroom for board meetings and client presentations, a foyer for receptions, and three smaller rooms called the Illumina Advocacy Meeting Room, the Coinbase Thought Leadership Meeting Room and the Community Lounge. The page says the larger rooms carry hybrid-enabled audio-visual equipment. Reservations go through an online booking system linked from the page, and an email address and a WhatsApp link are given for enquiries. The page also mentions booking up to a month ahead. Rates are shown per room, so read the current page first.
2. British Chamber of Commerce Singapore (BritCham)
BritCham's chamber-facilities page says both member and non-member companies can book space at its office in the Telok Ayer part of the business district. The page lists a boardroom, a smaller meeting room and hot desks. For the boardroom it gives a maximum of 18 people, with larger counts for theatre-style and classroom-style set-ups. The facilities it lists include wireless internet, a large wall screen, a camera and speaker for hybrid meetings, a whiteboard or flip chart, and tea or coffee for chargeable bookings. Room turnover and cleaning are also mentioned. The page asks visitors to contact the chamber to reserve and publishes a general enquiries email and phone line, so ask about availability and member rates before assuming a slot.

3. Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI)
SICCI rents two rooms at its own building in the central business district, and its site describes them as private and fully equipped. The Conference Room is described as a 15-seater with a conference-style table. The Seminar Room is described as a 30-seater with floor-to-ceiling windows, suited to mid-sized meetings, seminars and small social events. The page lists weekday slots from morning to evening and weekend slots, says rentals carry a two-hour minimum, and mentions four-hour blocks, with separate member and non-member rates. It does not set out a booking process, but links to a general enquiries page and a WhatsApp chat, and publishes a general phone line and email. Ask the chamber what equipment is included, because the page does not itemise it.

4. Singapore International Chamber of Commerce (SICC)
SICC hires out meeting rooms in the central business district and, according to its rental page, publishes rates for non-members alongside preferential rates for members. The page lists three rooms: the Members' Room, which it calls pillarless and which seats a boardroom group of 22 or a theatre audience of 50, the 1837 Room with boardroom seating for 14, and the Committee Room with boardroom seating for 8. It says rentals run Monday to Friday during office hours, excluding public holidays, and that setup, writing materials and water are included. Projection screens and refreshments can be arranged as extras. Bookings are made by downloading a form and emailing it back, and a phone number is given for queries.

5. Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SMCCI)
SMCCI's facilities-rental page lists rooms at two sites, its Jalan Pinang premises in Kampong Glam and a unit in the MacPherson area. At Jalan Pinang it describes a training room with adjustable table arrangements, wireless video projection and two wireless microphones, a sound-insulated studio room set up for podcasting, and a multi-purpose room. The MacPherson listing shows a main area with a projector and screen and a second multi-purpose room, both air-conditioned with wifi. The page gives separate rate tiers for members and non-members and a Book Now link to an online booking form, and it suggests arranging a site visit by email. Capacities are not stated, so ask before choosing a room for a larger group.

6. The Work Project (Capital Tower)
The Work Project is a workspace operator, and its Capital Tower page describes meeting rooms in a Grade A office building near Tanjong Pagar MRT. The page refers to signature meeting, project and workshop rooms, gives a capacity of up to 16 people, and says rooms are available by the hour or by the day. It lists whiteboards, TV monitors and, at specific locations, video conferencing, with an on-site support team. The page says walk-ins are welcome but advance booking is recommended, and visitors can book a tour through a sales coordinator. A sales email and a phone number are published. The page does not name individual rooms, so ask which apply.

How to choose
- Start with headcount and layout, not the room name. The providers above describe seating differently, with boardroom, theatre and classroom figures that can differ by a large margin. Ask for the number that applies to the layout you need and confirm whether tables and chairs can be rearranged before you pay.
- Check who is allowed to book. Chamber rooms often have member and non-member terms, and some pages state minimum booking lengths or weekday-only hours. Ask whether non-members can reserve your preferred date and whether the same terms apply to evening or weekend slots before you plan around a room.
- Ask what is included in the room hire. Pages here mention items such as screens, microphones, tea and coffee, projection or cleaning, but they differ. Confirm in writing which extras are free and which are charged, especially video-conferencing kit if some attendees will join remotely.
- Think about getting there. A room near an MRT station in the central business district suits visitors from out of town, while a chamber building in Kampong Glam or MacPherson may suit a local team better. Check the building's visitor entry steps so your guests are not stuck at the lobby.
- Book early and confirm terms. Providers publish booking routes such as an online system, a form or an email address, but availability can change. Ask about cancellation and rescheduling terms, any admin fee, and the contact for the day of your meeting before you share the room details with attendees.
