AI image by LocalRankA dead logic board, a spilled drink, a cracked Retina display or a battery that no longer lasts a morning all call for different kinds of repair shop. This guide covers eleven ways to get a MacBook fixed in Singapore: independent Mac specialists in Sim Lim Square, Far East Plaza and Millenia Walk, neighbourhood repair chains with outlets in the heartlands, and Apple's own retail stores. Each write-up draws on what the provider says about itself, so treat those lines as claims to confirm. Compare the faults each one lists, ask for a written quote after diagnosis, and read the buying tips at the end before you hand over your machine.
1. iDevice Repair Centre
iDevice Repair Centre has a dedicated MacBook service covering Air, Pro, Retina and M-series models, and lists logic board microsoldering, butterfly and Magic Keyboard swaps, flexgate, staingate, Touch Bar and trackpad faults. Related pages cover MacBook screens, batteries, speakers and iMac panels, drives and power supplies. The site says it works at component level, quotes in writing before starting and offers free diagnosis on a walk-in, and it states plainly in its footer that it is not affiliated with or authorised by Apple, which helps set expectations if you still have AppleCare cover. The workshop sits in the Tai Seng area, a few minutes from the MRT, and takes drop-offs on weekdays. Ask which parts it fits and what warranty applies to your specific repair.

2. RepairX
RepairX describes itself as a MacBook, iMac and laptop repair service, and its homepage lists MacBook repair and iMac repair alongside Windows laptops, with parts covering batteries, LCD screens, motherboards, SSD and RAM and water-damage repairs. Its contact page names a Central outlet at International Plaza and a North outlet at Woods Square in Woodlands, open daily except public holidays, with a WhatsApp number for enquiries. The homepage advertises free islandwide and on-site pickup and a warranty range of 30 to 180 days, so ask which period applies to your repair. Its footer carries a 2024 date, so message first to confirm it is trading before you travel.

3. Mac Infinity
Mac Infinity runs a Mac-focused workshop at Millenia Walk and says it works only on Apple products, covering MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches. Its MacBook page lists logic board and motherboard repair, liquid damage recovery, display replacement, battery, keyboard and trackpad work, plus SSD and RAM upgrades and data recovery. The shop says diagnosis is free and that it does not charge when a device cannot be fixed. It also states that it is not affiliated with Apple. Daily opening hours, including public holidays, are printed on its site, which suits anyone near the Marina Bay and Suntec area who needs a specialist and wants to compare a quote before committing.

4. Atomware
Atomware is a Sim Lim Square repair shop that describes itself as an Apple-focused specialist rather than a general chain. Its Apple repair page says its technicians can replace MacBook parts that are no longer covered by Apple's warranty, and its menu has a dedicated MacBook repair section alongside a board repairs category for component-level work. The site says it can often revive liquid-damaged Apple devices and keep data intact, and that it will tell you if a repair would cost as much as a replacement. It states plainly that it is a third-party company and is not affiliated with Apple. Opening days and hours, including a weekly closure, are published on the page.

5. MacWin
MacWin operates from Sim Lim Square, close to Rochor MRT, and covers MacBooks and other Macs as well as iPhones, iPads and Windows computers. Its site lists screen replacement, battery problems, keyboard faults, overheating and motherboard repair under Mac repair, and mentions SSD upgrades and logic board work for Windows machines. The shop also advertises off-site and remote support for people who cannot easily visit. Several reviews it displays describe liquid damage on newer MacBooks, with one reviewer saying staff repaired the board rather than replacing it. Opening hours are printed as daily from late morning to evening, and the page carries a 2026 copyright notice, so it appears actively maintained, with two named contacts listed for phone enquiries.

6. TRIT Computer Repair
TRIT brands itself as a team of Apple certified Mac and iOS technicians, a claim it makes on its own homepage, and focuses on Macs, Windows laptops and data recovery. Its MacBook page lists liquid damage repair, cracked Retina screens, logic board and graphics repair, battery replacement and unresponsive keyboards or trackpads, and a separate upgrade service covers SSD, hard drive and memory changes. The site lists outlets in Yishun, Ang Mo Kio and Tampines, and marks a Hougang branch as closed, so check which counter is open before travelling. That heartland spread makes it a practical choice for residents of the north and east who would rather not go into town.

7. Laptop Doctor
Laptop Doctor, operated by Kato-Tech, is a single-site repair centre in Ang Mo Kio that calls itself an independent third-party hardware service centre and does not claim Apple authorisation. Its MacBook page lists Retina and OLED screen replacement, battery health and swollen battery work, keyboard and trackpad service, liquid spill assessment and cleaning, charging port and USB-C repairs, data recovery and component-level motherboard repair. The site carries a 2017 to 2026 copyright line and publishes weekday and Saturday hours, with no Sunday opening listed. For someone in the north who wants a Mac-capable workshop without a mall crowd, it is a straightforward option, and the site lists a phone number and email address for enquiries.

8. BreakFixNow
BreakFixNow is a laptop and phone repair business that gives MacBooks their own page, listing models from older Intel machines to M-series Air and Pro laptops. The services it publishes include screen, battery, keyboard, trackpad and charging port repair, fan and overheating fixes, motherboard repair for no-power or liquid-damaged units, and Apple Silicon data recovery. Its site says diagnosis is free, that most repairs are finished the same day, and that walk-ins are welcome at its outlets in Bugis, Bedok, Jurong East and Ang Mo Kio. It also advertises a warranty on repairs, so ask for the exact terms in writing. Another menu entry mentions a Marine Parade outlet, so confirm the branch.

9. LYK Repair
LYK Repair is a multi-branch mobile and laptop repairer with stores in Tai Seng, Jurong, Woodlands and Bugis, and a MacBook page covering Air and Pro models across many generations. It lists screen, battery, keyboard, trackpad, Touch Bar and fan repairs, water damage and liquid spill recovery, motherboard and logic board repair, SSD and storage replacement, and charging port work. The company says it is trained for eligible repairs under Apple's Independent Repair Provider programme and uses genuine Apple parts where that programme applies, while also stating that it is not affiliated with Apple. It also offers a flat-fee doorstep repair option, according to the page. Its phone-repair strengths are covered in our separate phone repair guide.

10. Citri Mobile
Citri Mobile is a phone and laptop repair chain whose dedicated MacBook page covers 47 models, from the 12-inch MacBook to recent Air and Pro machines. The repairs it lists include screen, battery, logic board and SSD work, and its homepage describes four walk-in shops in Chinatown, Tampines, Jurong and Yishun, open daily, with a mail-in option. The site states that it takes part in Apple's Independent Repair Provider programme, which it says gives access to genuine parts, tools and diagnostics for eligible iPhone repairs, so that wording should not be read as covering every MacBook job. Ask which parts and method will be used for your model. Its phone services are also covered in our phone repair guide.

11. Apple Store Singapore
Apple's own retail stores are the route to go through if your MacBook is still under warranty or covered by AppleCare. Apple's Singapore support page says Apple retail stores and its Apple Authorised Service Providers offer Apple-certified repairs using genuine Apple parts, and that only repairs done by Apple or an authorised provider are covered by its limited warranty and AppleCare plans. Apple's store list shows three Singapore stores: Orchard Road, Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi Airport. Apple's page does not say what it will do for out-of-warranty or liquid-damaged machines, so ask the store what applies to your model when you book a visit. Apple's page also notes that independent repairers do not provide warranty-backed Apple repairs.

How to choose
- Match the shop to the fault. A cracked display or tired battery is routine work for most outlets, but a MacBook that will not power on after a spill needs board-level diagnosis. Ask whether the technician repairs components on the logic board or simply swaps whole boards, because the two routes differ in cost and in data risk.
- Check warranty status before anywhere else. Apple's support page says only repairs done by Apple or an authorised provider are covered by its limited warranty and AppleCare. If your Mac is still covered, start with Apple. Once cover has lapsed, independent specialists become a sensible way to compare quotes without losing warranty protection.
- Back up first if the machine still boots, and ask how data is handled if it does not. Liquid-damaged and Apple Silicon MacBooks can make recovery harder, since storage is often tied to the board. Request a clear statement on whether your drive will be wiped, and avoid giving over a password without understanding why it is needed.
- Get the quote after diagnosis in writing, including what is covered, how long it should take and the warranty on parts and labour. Several shops here advertise free diagnosis, so use that to collect two quotes. Be cautious of anyone who guarantees a fix before opening the machine, and ask what happens if repair fails.
- Read claims about certification carefully. Terms such as certified technician, independent repair provider and authorised service provider mean different things, and a shop's own wording is not an Apple endorsement. Ask which parts will be used, whether they are genuine Apple parts, and whether the shop will note this on your receipt for your records.
