A scrape in a car park, a rogue shopping trolley or a minor collision can leave dents, scratches and flaking paint that need more than a polish. This guide shortlists Singapore workshops that publish bodywork, panel beating, dent removal or spray painting on their own sites, from Kaki Bukit and Sin Ming to Ang Mo Kio, Jurong and Tuas. Each write-up is based on what the business says about itself and is attributed that way, without prices or promises. Use the list to decide which type of repair you need, send photos to a few shops for written quotes, and read the how-to-choose notes before you commit.

1. Cheng Chuan Motor Services

Cheng Chuan Motor Services operates from Kaki Bukit Autohub, and its site puts respraying at the centre of the business, including full colour changes and refreshes for tired paintwork. The same pages describe general repair for all makes and models, a fast-turnaround respray option, body-kit customisation, polishing and grooming, servicing and insurance help, so one workshop can cover the paint job and the work around it. Its about page includes a company timeline, and the footer shows a 2026 date. A WhatsApp link and a contact page make it easy to send photos of the damage first. Panel beating is not named on the page we read, so ask whether dents are straightened in-house.

2. Chia Auto

Chia Auto runs its workshop inside the Vicom building at Kaki Bukit, a short walk from Kaki Bukit MRT according to its own location notes. A dedicated page covers panel beating and spray painting, and the site says the work applies to both petrol and electric vehicles. Around the bodywork it lists accident claim and repair, engine service and maintenance, auto detailing and styling, and insurance renewal and leasing, which suits drivers who want paint, mechanics and paperwork handled by one company. The footer carries a 2026 date. It publishes two phone lines and a contact page for enquiries. As with any respray, ask how the shop matches colour and what it offers if the finish needs touching up later.

3. Autoworld Bodyworks

Autoworld Bodyworks describes a west-side outlet at Lok Yang Way in the Tuas industrial area, handy for drivers in Jurong, Tuas and the surrounding estates. Its bodywork repair page lists scratch and dent repair, panel restoration and rust repair, alongside automotive spray painting and insurance claims. It also offers solar film and window tinting, so a cosmetic refresh can be combined with the repair. The site says the business was established in 2020, shows a 2026 footer, and lists Monday to Saturday opening hours with Sundays and public holidays closed. Enquiries go through a contact form or a published phone line. Because it is a newer name than many workshops here, ask to see examples of recent resprays before you commit.

4. PDR.com.sg (Paintless Dent Removal)

PDR.com.sg is a specialist rather than a general body shop, and its site says it focuses on removing dents without sanding, painting or clear coat. It states that it has worked in this niche since 1996 and that most single-panel dents are assessed, worked and finished within hours, though that is the company's own description. Its pages place it in Kaki Bukit and say it moved there from Capitol Centre. That makes it a sensible first stop for door dings and small to medium dents where the paint surface is intact, and a different route from a respray. Cracked or chipped paint is a separate question, so ask whether your dent suits the method. The site offers a WhatsApp link and a contact page.

5. Vin's Automotive Group

Vin's Automotive Group operates an accident reporting centre and workshop at Sin Ming Autocity. Its workshops page says the team does body repair, which it calls panel beating, plus spray painting and engine overhaul, and it says its staff have worked there for over 20 years. The company also states that it is an approved workshop for Tokio Marine, ERGO and GAIC; that is its own wording, so ask the insurer what applies to your claim. The site publishes an enquiry email, separate office and workshop phone lines, a WhatsApp link, a 24-hour breakdown number and a contact page, and it showed recent updates when we checked. That breadth suits drivers who want accident repair and ongoing servicing under one roof.

6. KGC Workshop

KGC Workshop is based at Corporation Drive in Jurong, and its about page says it began in 1967 as Koh Guan Chua Workshop in Sin Ming, started as a spray painting shop before growing into a wider automotive business. Today its services page lists spray painting, panel beating, bodykit repair and customisation, polishing, paint protection and accident claims, next to servicing and aircon work. It names a manager who is described as the third generation of the family. The footer shows 2026, and the site lists a WhatsApp number plus several advisor phone lines. Contact-form details looked like template placeholders when we checked, so use the phone or WhatsApp routes and ask for the right advisor for bodywork jobs.

7. Lee Sheng Auto

Lee Sheng Auto runs from Autobay in Kaki Bukit. Its spray painting and accident repair page says the team has more than 40 years in body repair and spray painting and can restore accident-damaged panels and scratches. It lists an aluminium dent puller, a chassis repair bench and an oven-bake spray booth as its equipment, and it states a warranty on accident repairs, so ask for the written terms. A separate page covers its accident claims and GIA reporting centre, and the site also lists servicing, diagnostics and fleet maintenance. To start, the page invites you to call or WhatsApp photos of the damage for a quote. The footer carries a 2026 date, and an email is published for sales enquiries.

8. Sin Heng Long Motor Work

Sin Heng Long Motor Work is an Ang Mo Kio industrial park business, and its contact page separates a spray painting unit from the main office and customer lounge used for servicing. The site lists auto body repair, car accident repair and cosmetic spray painting, plus bicycle and industrial spray painting, so it can take on odd paint jobs beyond cars. It has a section on accident insurance claims and invites customers to WhatsApp photos for an estimate, with an email address and an office line also published. The homepage showed updates from 2026 when we checked, though the footer still reads 2017, so confirm current hours and details when you get in touch before you bring the car in.

How to choose

  • Decide whether you need a respray, panel beating or a dent-only fix, because shops differ. Paintless dent removal suits a dent where the paint is intact, while cracked paint or a crumpled panel usually means filler and repaint. Send clear photos to two or three workshops and compare what each says it would do.
  • Ask how the workshop matches colour and finishes a panel: whether it uses a spray booth, how it blends the new paint into neighbouring panels, and whether it can show similar finished work. Paint problems can appear months later, so also ask what it will do if the finish fades or peels.
  • If an insurer is involved, ask the workshop which claims it handles directly and whether it holds approved-workshop status with your insurer. Several shops state such arrangements on their own sites, but only your insurer can confirm what applies to your policy, so check with it and keep copies of the paperwork.
  • Get the quote in writing with the panels, parts, paint and any replacement items listed. Ask what is excluded, how long the car will be off the road, and who is responsible if hidden damage shows up once the panel is stripped. A clear itemised estimate makes shops easier to compare.
  • Read the warranty terms before agreeing, not after. Several workshops mention a warranty on bodywork or spray painting, but coverage, exclusions and claim-job treatment differ. Ask what the warranty covers, how long it runs, and whether it applies to insurance repairs or only private jobs, then keep the invoice and photos.
